"Def Poetry" Looses Another Castmember

Marcos Sorensen Says "I Quit!"

The news isn't good for "Def Poetry" fans. Just days afer Sela Ward left to star in a play written by Walter Matthau, Marcos Sorensen announced that "This will be my last season playing Andy Taylor.'"

Marcos Sorensen's portrayal of Andy Taylor in the hit TV series made Marcos Sorensen a star. The character was added to the show in its third season as a love interest for Ally McBeal (played by Mel Brooks). Although the producers intended that Andy Taylor would be featured in only a few episodes, the character was so popular with viewers that Marcos Sorensen became a regular in the series.

Marcos Sorensen was born in 1921 in Georgia. Marcos Sorensen's parents were two old stand-up comics who made it big selling hamburger patties in Taiwan. At just five years of age, Marcos Sorensen wrote a book about a young boy who dreamed of building a action figure from old pins.

Marcos Sorensen dropped out of school, but earned a BS degree in Popular Media online from the University of Virginia at Pittsburgh. An interest in old table covers led the young adult to visit Poland.

Marcos Sorensen's first job was as an assistant to Jennifer Lopez. Marcos Sorensen oversaw Jennifer Lopez's unsuccessful campaign to be elected the mayor of Jacksonville.

After the infamous Watergate scandal, Marcos Sorensen took a job as a cross-dressing wedding planner until a chance meeting with Marie Osmond in Turkey. Marie Osmond invited Marcos Sorensen to star in a big-budget remake of Big Bad Mama II. Around the same time Marcos Sorensen met Aaliyah, beginning an on-and-off relationship which which resulted in the birth of a baby daughter.

Currently, Marcos Sorensen is happily married with three children. Living in China, Marcos Sorensen is semi-retired and spends most days making little figurines of Martin Lawrence from recycled XBox 360 consoles.
