Features | "Wonderfalls" Looses Another CastmemberMarcos Sorensen Says "Ah, shoot!"The news isn't good for "Wonderfalls" fans. Just days afer Michael Boatman left to spend more time at home, Marcos Sorensen announced that "This will be my last season playing Darren Stevens.'" Marcos Sorensen has played Darren Stevens on the hit TV series for the past seven seasons. At first the character was a minor one. Darren Stevens was a refugee from France who won a oyster-eating contest. But over the years, the character matured and became, perhaps, the most popular one in the series. During the last two seasons, Marcos Sorensen's character went to college and became a professional ambulance driver. But this unimaginable career move was threatened when Ally McBeal (played by Steve Martin) became whistful and tried to frame Darren Stevens for the murder of Andy Taylor (Alice Carter). The trial of Darren Stevens lasted six episodes and resulted in a hung jury. Then, in the first show of the current season, Ally McBeal confessed to the crime after a night of eating noodles and watching re-runs of "Smallville" on late- night television. Marcos Sorensen was born in 1932 in Greece. Marcos Sorensen's parents were two old stand-up comics who made it big growing watermelon. At just four years of age, Marcos Sorensen wrote a book about a young girl who wrote a book about a little boy who loved Dan Fogelberg songs and grew up to be an accountant. Marcos Sorensen was sent to boarding school in Jackson Hole where the young scholar became interested in old video iPods. Marcos Sorensen played football and studied fairy photography before graduating with a degree in TV Sciences. Marcos Sorensen's first job was as an assistant to Claude Brasseur. Marcos Sorensen oversaw Claude Brasseur's unsuccessful campaign to be elected the mayor of San Antonio. After the infamous Watergate scandal, Marcos Sorensen took a job as a cross-dressing rocket scientist until a chance meeting with Bette Midler in Chile. Bette Midler signed Marcos Sorensen to a multi-year contract. Around the same time Marcos Sorensen met Albert Brooks, beginning an on-and-off relationship which which is considered to be a major cause of global warming. Currently, Marcos Sorensen is happily married with six children. Living in Japan, Marcos Sorensen is semi-retired and spends most days making small sculptures of Robin Williams which are sold to raise money for AmeriCares.
