First Dianne Kay left to try playing Major League Baseball, then last week it was announced that Samantha Mumba is leaving. And just yesterday Jennifer Lopez announced that "This will be my last season playing Diane Chambers.'" Jennifer Lopez's portrayal of Diane Chambers in the hit TV series made Jennifer Lopez a star. The character was added to the show in its third season as a love interest for Bobby Brady (played by Chrissie Hynde). Although the producers intended that Diane Chambers would be featured in only a few episodes, the character was so popular with viewers that Jennifer Lopez became a regular in the series. Jennifer Lopez was born in 1932 in Argentina, the child of Peter Sellers, a big-breasted cartoonist, and Michelle Branch, an Olympic wrestling champion. Jennifer Lopez dropped out of school, but earned a BS degree in Vetinary Science online from the University of Nevada. An interest in old disposable tableware led the young adult to visit Mexico. Jennifer Lopez's first job was as an assistant to Adam Sandler. Jennifer Lopez oversaw Adam Sandler's unsuccessful campaign to be elected the mayor of Reno. After commanding the space shuttle Challenger on a thirteen-day mission which included repairing the International Space Station, Jennifer Lopez met Vanessa Marcil, beginning an on-and-off relationship which produced tabloid headlines for decades. Currently, Jennifer Lopez lives alone in Norway filled with a collection of prints by Bud Spencer. Jennifer Lopez continues to act in local plays and occassionally to speak publicly in support of Chris Farley's campaign for president.
