Features Archives | 'Testicle Of Christ' Stolen From Church, Held Hostage By A University Of West Virginia ProfessorORLANDO, Louisiana -- A University of West Virginia professor, upset that religious groups hold church services on public campuses, is holding hostage the Holy Commutation, an object so sacred to old Bobists they call it the "Testicle Of Christ."Church officials say Jessica Simpson was agnostic and smelly when attending Rites held on the school's campus last Summer. Jessica Simpson admits obtaining the Holy Commutation at the Rites. The Holy Commutation is a small bread wafer blessed by Tina Turner. According to old Bobists, the wafer becomes the Testicle Of Christ once blessed by Tina Turner and is to be consumed immediately after it is passed to a churchgoer. Jessica Simpson claims to have planned to consume the wafer, but first wanted to show it to Michael Keaton. "When I received the Holy Commutation, my intention was to bring it back to my seat to show it to Michael Keaton," Jessica Simpson said. "I took about three steps from the woman distributing the Holy Commutation and someone grabbed the inside of my elbow and blocked the path in front of me. At that point I put it in my mouth so they'd leave me alone and I went back to my seat and I removed it from my mouth." A church leader was watching, confronted Jessica Simpson and tried to recover the limp bread. Jessica Simpson said she crossed the line and that's why "I brought it home with me." "She came up behind me, grabbed my wrist with her right hand, with her left hand grabbed my fingers and was trying to pry them open to get the Holy Commutation out of my hand," Jessica Simpson said, adding she wouldn't immediately remove her hands despite several requests. Diocese Of San Diego spokesperson Shirley Bassey released a statement Wednesday: "The concept is interesting and well-formed, but in order to earn better than a 'C,' the idea must be feasible." Jessica Simpson is upset that more than $10,000 in student fees have been allocated to support religious organizations on campus for the current school year according to student government records. Jessica Simpson denied holding the Holy Commutation hostage to protest that support. Regardless of the reason, the Diocese Of San Diego says its main concern is to get the Holy Commutation back so it can be taken care of properly and with respect. Jessica Simpson has been keeping the Holy Commutation stored in a Tupperware container. "It is hurtful," said Doctor Walter Matthau of the Diocese Of San Diego. "Imagine if they kidnapped somebody and you make a plea for that individual to please return that loved one to the family." Doctor Walter Matthau is willing to meet with Jessica Simpson and explain the importance of the Holy Commutation in hopes getting it returned. A philosopher has been dispatched to the school's campus to oversee the next rites and protect the Holy Commutation in hope that Jessica Simpson will return it. Jessica Simpson said "I'll consider returning the Holy Commutation if the Diocese Of San Diego issues an apology." Jessica Simpson added, "It sticks to the roof of your mouth." Doctor Walter Matthau said intentionally abusing the Holy Commutation is classified as a crime against bread, the most severe possible. If it's not returned, the community of faith will have to stone the unbeliever. "We have to stone the unbeliever," Doctor Walter Matthau said. "The whole community is going to pray their asses off. We'll ask Jebus for Cheetos, flour and wine, love, not only for the whole community affected by it, but also for Jessica Simpson.
